Every parameter, every operator

GI4 is GEM's system for monitoring and controlling production, designed to bring existing machines and lines into Industry 4.0/5.0 without overhauling them.

It continuously records the parameters the plant is working with and can send them back to the machines for subsequent production runs.

It keeps track of every change to the parameters: which operator changed what, and when.

Configure, don't program

A finished product, not a project to build

GI4 is configured, not programmed from scratch. It is set up on the existing plant and can be introduced gradually, alongside the lines already in operation: it does not require replacing the automation systems in place.

It is 100% web-based, accessible from a browser on desktop and mobile devices, and its modular architecture lets you start from a single machine and scale up to managing lines, departments or entire factories.

GI4 runs at the edge, on Docker technology, directly within the company's own infrastructure: production data does not need to be transferred to the cloud.

Information stays where it is generated, and direct control over production data remains with the company.

GI4 involves no mandatory subscription fees and no licences tied to the number of users or devices.

The system is purchased once and belongs to the customer: wider use is not limited by the number of people accessing the platform or by the devices they use.

GI4 includes MIO, the environment dedicated to visualising and analysing production data.

Machine states, OEE, KPIs, times and process variables become dashboards and charts available in the browser. Analysis can relate machine settings to the measurements actually recorded during production.

The goal is not just to show that a line is slowing down, but to provide the tools to understand why it is slowing down.
